Dana White Promises the “Baddest Card of All Time” for Trump UFC Event

It's hardly surprising that UFC President Dana White has hopped on the bandwagon supporting U.S. President Donald Trump's ambitions to hold a UFC event at the White House, as he is the ultimate promoter.

The 250th Anniversary of America

In 2026, Trump hopes to witness a UFC event on the White House grounds as part of the celebrations for America's 250th birthday.  On July 3, he made the news during a gathering at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.

White discussed it on the Full Send Podcast today, the first time the UFC has made an official statement.

“[Trump] loves the sport, so he wants to do a UFC event there,” White said. “And why would we say no to that? Tons of challenges. First of all, I don’t even know how many people can get in. Not to mention the fact that Secret Service isn’t going to let a lot of people come do this. Everybody’s going to have to have a background check. Whoever gets to be there live, it will be such a unique, amazing experience in their lifetime to be able to go to this fight.”

He is promised "the baddest card of all time … everybody wants to fight," according to White.

Training for the Jones Back

After learning about Trump's event, heavyweight Jon Jones, who had retired only a few weeks prior, has now reportedly joined the UFC drug testing program.

According to White, rumors of potential UFC bouts are constantly embellished by the media.  Then he immediately gave the podcasters this tidbit of information:

"The dream main event right now would be Aspinall vs. Jones,” he said.

Following Jones' retirement, Tom Aspinall took over as the current UFC heavyweight champion.

Trump is a major UFC supporter.

There is no more eagerly awaited possible bout than Jones vs. Aspinall, except from Ilia Topuria vs. Islam Makhachev.

"I started training again as soon as I heard Donald Trump's announcement, but I don't know what the future holds," Jones remarked on X.

McGregor Teases a Resurrection

Conor McGregor "could be" on the same card at the White House as Jones, White added in the podcast.

McGregor has already expressed interest in Trump's UFC event and come out on X.
